Guiding Star Cedar Valley is a non-profit healthcare center that believes in the natural beauty of the feminine design, and we're here to inform you that you don't have to alter your body to live the life you want.

We offer women effective fertility care methods that empower them to naturally avoid pregnancy, regulate their cycle, and relieve discomfort women may endure such as painful periods, which is an option women have not been getting through mainstream healthcare.

Our center provides wholistic healthcare to women of all ages, to ensure they have the mental and physical support they need throughout their lifetime - all in one place.

Assaults on Women's Health

This topic will make you question the mainstream healthcare you've been provided. Many college-aged women struggle with healthcare issues such us painful, irregular periods, and the common healthcare being provided has one-solution to that huge problem - artificial birth control. Using hormonal contraceptives as a cure-all actually doesn't cure anything. Artificial birth control is designed to flood your body with hormones and cut off your endocrine system's communication with the brain, in turn, doing more harm than good. The only reason symptoms subside on birth control, is because the brain can no longer communicate to the body that there is a problem, meaning that once a woman decides to go on birth control, the underlying health conditions come flooding back, and it may have created additional concerns such as infertility, anxiety, and more. When women are prescribed birth control, they often think it is their only option for relief and are unaware of these risks. However, Guiding Star is here to open the door to a natural alternative to birth control that not only diagnoses and solves health issues but also effectively avoids pregnancy.

What you never learned about your reproductive choices

Yes, women already have many choices, from IUDs to a shot and even a pill, but are these the only effective options? The answer is no. There is another option that is not being offered by mainstream healthcare that is proven to be healthier to both a woman's mind and body. Fertility awareness-based methods empower women to use their natural feminine design to avoid pregnancy without having to alter their body with harmful hormones. It works by using a woman's body's signals to track what week they are in their cycle, and only one of those weeks allows a woman to get pregnant. These methods also boast many benefits such as no side effects or causes of additional health concerns, very inexpensive and in some cases, free, no need for hormones like estrogen that increase the risk of heart problems, and allows couples to not only avoid pregnancy but also achieve it whenever they are ready.

Most importantly, it empowers women to choose what's best for them.

For these reasons and many more, Guiding Star Cedar Valley is dedicated to offering fertility care to women of all ages. That's why we are hoping to offer these services on campus so that college students have convenient access to more fertility options as well as lifelong support for their physical and mental well-being. We know women have the power to conquer anything, but sometimes need a guiding star to ensure they are getting the best healthcare.

Join us the week of March 23rd to be educated, empowered, and excited about the future of women's healthcare.
